Hi all, my story began in 1997 when I was born in Espoo and...no, just kidding! So I am the traditional kid who thought of becoming a lawer, doctor and a pilot. But I ended up studying leadership and organisations in Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.
During my bachelor's studies I still had no idea what I would do when I grow up. I worked within customer support, recruiting, marketing, HR and communications. Of course the possibility of entrepreneurship was always there, but the idea was missing.
In 2021 we got our beloved golden retriever Onni and there it all starter. I sewed bandanas for him and we also faced challenges with finding a good harness for him. We managed to find a few, but they were not as beautiful as we wished. The idea of Woofy started to build, but I first had to finalise my master's studies.
In the beginning of 2023 I got my Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration degree - WOOP WOOP!
Of course I already had done things with Woofy, but after my graduation the company was officially founded. Everything was very exciting and I did my first bigger order of products.
While waiting for the leashes, harnesses and other to arrive, we started with our handmade products. When the products finally arrived in early June 2023, that was the big bang.
Since then, Woofy has been growing steadily. I am forever grateful for all the support I have received from my family, friends, fellow entrepreneurs and clients but first and foremost my partner Kim. I'm not sure if Woofy would exist without him, because to be honest, I was quite nervous to start with my own business. But I am happier than ever now, and I'm excited to see where the journey of Woofy will take me😍
