💜 Why to walk hands-free?
Hands-free walking can be very helpful in many situations. Hands-free walking can help you in training situations, because then you can just concentrate on your dog and rewarding instead of concentrating on holding the leash. Maybe you have a baby stroller to push? Things to carry? Sore neck? Or maybe you just simply want to enjoy hands-free walking or your morning coffee while you are on your morning walk?
In addition, hands-free walking have helped many of our customers with training loose leash walking. When you don't hold the leash in your hand, all the unnecessary and perhaps automatic movements will be left out. That might release the dog's stress and leave the unwanted signals away from your walk.
Hands-free walking has a lot of benefits, but it's important that the dog is well trained and behaves well on the leash. If the dog sometimes bursts or pulls, you can always grab the leash with your hand.
🐶 How to use FreePaws with one dog?
There is few ways to use it depending on what kind of leash you have:

Multifunction leash (snap hooks in both ends of the leash): Simply clip the multifunction leash to FreePaws and enjoy hands-free walkies!

Regular leash with a handle: You can simply thread FreePaws through the handle of your leash and then clip FreePaws around your body.
🐶🐶 How to use FreePaws with two dogs?
You have few options to do this! You can simply clip your dog's multifunction leashes to the snap hook on the FreePaws as described above in the case of one dog. However, the leashes might get tangled. If you want to minimise the risk of tangled leashes, we warmly recommend to attach a DuoClip between FreePaws and the leashes. DuoClip works best with two dogs!
